Can you imagine a situation where anyone in violation of school policy just gets pepper sprayed to remedy the infraction? It is absurd. I am shocked by this entire situation. Peaceful civil disobedience is to be encouraged. We all have the right to dissent and the university as educators should encourage their students to participate in our democracy and to make their views known.
This incident is shameful.

I am feeling that we have all the insanity of the late 1950's and 1960's coming back to us from the Universe as another opportunity to resolve the issues which were never resolved back then. Nothing seems different from the past experience, only the energy has snowballed into more wars, and more peaceful protestors. It would be wise for our government to take a good listen to what is being expressed to them from their voters, & young citizens. These issues will not disappear just because people don't want to deal with them. These issues will continue to fester until they demand solution. It is always better to do today what needs to be done rather than wait till tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes, or it comes with wrath.
